Mandala Project

This involved running a number of in house and public workshops with people from many different nationalities and walks of life.We designed and constructed two 4ft Mandalas for people to work on which represented the diverse communities who attended the house culminating in a public exhibition of all the mandalas produced through the workshops.

Mandala 2

The artist created the original template and people from different sections of the house where invited to add their original ideas to complete the final expression.

People were given individual discs to take away and work on, these individual mandalas were then joined together by the artist to form one large Mandala.

These Mandalas were created in workshops where the only materials available were
black paper and a white pencil. Participants where encouraged to follow their intuition and and let their mandala unfold.
