Resurrection. 2004-2005
Inspired by my visit to the Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. While I was walking the Labyrinth in this magnificent church a sermon was taking place, just as I got to the center of the labyrinth the priest started a prayer. It was 35 years to the day that women had been acknowledged by the church and allowed to become ministers, his prayer was that we no longer inhibit this process in any way. Amen.This mandala also symbolizes the new life, the completion of a journey, the release from the grief cycle.
